Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a motivated Associate Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Security Architecture & Engineering team. In this role, you will help design, implement, and improve endpoint security controls that protect enterprise devices and corporate data.You will work closely with senior security engineers, IT infrastructure teams, and security architects to deploy and maintain endpoint security technologies, enhance endpoint visibility, and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
This role is ideal for someone early in their cybersecurity career who wants to gain hands-on experience in endpoint security engineering, security architecture implementation, and enterprise security tooling.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining endpoint protection technologies such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and CrowdStrike Falcon.
- Support implementation of endpoint hardening standards across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Assist in managing endpoint security policies including device control, firewall, and application protection.
- Help onboard endpoint security telemetry into monitoring platforms such as Splunk.
- Assist in validating endpoint detections and security alerts.
- Support endpoint log analysis and troubleshooting security-related issues.
- Support implementation of enterprise endpoint security architecture and design patterns.
- Assist senior engineers in evaluating endpoint security tools and technologies.
- Contribute to endpoint security baseline configurations and architecture documentation.
- Develop scripts or automation to streamline endpoint security operations and data collection.
- Assist in integrating endpoint security platforms with enterprise identity, logging, and asset management systems.
- Assist in investigating endpoint security incidents and validating containment or remediation actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of endpoint security controls and processes.
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, systems administration or networking.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Foundational knowledge of endpoint security and operating system security concepts.
- Understanding of Windows, macOS, or Linux system administration basics.
- Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Foundational knowledge of security policies/practices and common security applications (e.g., EDR/antivirus, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, DLP).
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (or in progress) preferred; GSEC, CySA+, or equivalent entry-level certifications are a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- May participate in on-call rotations or shift work as needed.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, seek guidance appropriately, and incorporate feedback.
- Uphold Syniverse security policies and practices and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
- Experience with endpoint security platforms such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Tanium, Trend Micro, Qualys, Zscaler, DSPM and Microsoft Defender
