Assistant Lead Engineer - IT Asset Management (Cyber Security Office) (SG)

Position Overview

The prospective candidate is detail-oriented and proactive as a member of the IT Asset Management Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and optimization of resources. This role requires collaboration with various departments to maintain an efficient asset management process and support the organization’s IT strategy.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement API scripts and automated workflows to enhance vulnerability management processes and ensure 100% accuracy in reporting.
• Process, analyze, and manipulate large volumes of inventory data to ensure information is accurate
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments and teams within the organization to manage asset acquisition and tracking.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.
• Provide support for asset-related inquiries and issues from internal stakeholders.
• Generate reports and analytics on asset utilization, costs, and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in inventory management, programming, or a related technical role is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in performing data processing, analysis, and transformation of large datasets.
• Strong capability in Python scripting to automate tasks and design efficient process workflows.
• Proficiency in the following areas:
  1. Inventory tool
  2. Database management and querying.
  3. Power BI
  4. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
