An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a major cyber security technology transformation within a large-scale, mission-critical environment.
This role will be responsible for driving the transformation of an existing cyber security platform to a next-generation capability, ensuring the successful transition from project delivery into sustainable operational excellence. Working across security, technology, operations, and executive stakeholder groups, you will play a pivotal role in shaping future-state cyber operations and building long-term organisational capability.
This is a highly visible leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, can influence at senior levels, and has a strong background delivering cyber security and operational transformation programs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major cyber security technology transformation program.
- Drive the migration from a legacy platform to a modern cyber security capability.
- Define and implement future-state operating models, processes, governance frameworks, and ways of working.
- Build organisational capability to support ongoing cyber operations and service delivery.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure successful adoption of new security technologies and processes.
- Manage executive stakeholders and provide clear reporting on program outcomes, risks, and dependencies.
- Oversee organisational readiness, training, transition planning, and operational handover.
- Work closely with security operations, engineering, infrastructure, and vendor partners to ensure successful delivery and long-term sustainability.
About You
You are an experienced Program Manager with a proven track record delivering large-scale cyber security or technology transformation initiatives.
You'll bring:
- 10+ years of project and program management experience.
- Strong cyber security background with experience working across security operations, cyber technology, or security transformation programs.
- Demonstrated success delivering business change, operating model transformation, and organisational adoption.
- Experience leading complex stakeholder environments and influencing executive leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of security operations, incident management, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Experience working within critical infrastructure, transportation, telecommunications, utilities, or similarly complex operational environments.
- Strong vendor and partner management experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Large-scale cyber security transformation.
- Migration from an existing platform to a new strategic platform.
- Strong focus on building operational capability and embedding new ways of working.
- 24/7 operational environment requiring resilience, reliability, and continuous service delivery.
- High emphasis on cyber security practices, governance, and operational excellence.
- Complex multi-stakeholder program with significant executive visibility.
- Experience within transportation, telecommunications, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of SIEM, CSOC, threat intelligence, detection engineering, and cyber operations.
- Current Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
