Full Time Permanent position (office based)
2 week Rotating roster with 12 hour shifts (7am to 7pm)
Basic knowledge of networking, OS, SIEM/Log analysis, data and security fundamentals

You will be working onsite in NAB's newly built, world-first Command Centre, a purpose-built environment designed to support collaboration, rapid decision-making and learning as such the role is office based rather than hybrid.
In the role of NCC Cyber Security Analyst you will join the NAB Command Centre (NCC) that’s doubling down on Owning it and moving with speed.
Each day, you will go above and beyond to:
Meeting key metrics demonstrating time to response and time to close incidents
Monitor SIEM and security dashboards (Splunk, Phantom, ServiceNow, JIRA, Purview) for alerts and anomalies.
Follow playbook-driven procedures for event/alert triage and response.
Log, categorise, and document incidents in the ticketing system; maintain ticket hygiene.
Escalate non-standard or complex alerts to the relevant teams as per escalation thresholds/triggers.
Participate in structured handovers and ensure accurate documentation of incidents and actions taken.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
Experience in an operational environment
Preferred experience using Splunk or other monitoring/observability/SIEM solutions
Procedure Adherence: Proficiency in following playbook-driven procedures
Incident Management: Skill in logging, categorising, and documenting incidents in the ticketing system while maintaining ticket hygiene.
Escalation: Capability to escalate non-standard or complex alerts to the relevant teams
Communication and Documentation: Active participation in structured handovers and accurate documentation of incidents
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
