We have an exciting new opening for a System Cybersecurity Engineer. You’ll be given the opportunity to develop next generation products and technologies for the automotive industry.
As an individual contributor in the Electrification Center of Excellence (eCOE) and responding to the Global System Engineering Leader, the System Cybersecurity Engineer drives the following activities:
Analyzes customer Cybersecurity requirements, negotiates them as needed with customers and works internally with our Systems engineers and design teams to assure our understanding and ability to satisfy them.
Develop Cybersecurity concept for our products to foster the development of Cybersecurity requirements and design. Lead internal and external discussions on Cybersecurity concepts. Deliver Cyber Security requirement towards different domains (SW, EE HW, etc).
Be deeply involved in the development of the TARA (Thread Analysis and Risk assessment) for active projects with the support of Systems engineers and design teams. This includes Item definition, risk identification, risk assessment and providing controls measures.
Lead the continual Cybersecurity activities including Cybersecurity monitoring, event evaluations, and vulnerability analyses.
Support process development which conforms to the ISO 21434 standard.
Fosters and facilitates the departments understanding of Cybersecurity and develops the company’s culture of Cybersecurity.
Support the Cyber Security Manager and Program Manager in development of Cybersecurity plans and Cybersecurity cases.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in automotive engineering which includes electrical hardware and software development.
ISO 21434 certification
2+ years experience in ISO 21434 with a proven track record of comprehending and applying the standard to product development
Understanding of ISO 26262
Experience with in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
Prior experience with requirements management
Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate solutions with hardware, software, and systems engineering
Understanding of project management
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced ISO 21434 certification
Prior experience with high speed motors and/or powertrain applications.
Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering.
Understanding of Automotive standards
LV-123 / VDA-320 / Automotive high voltage standards
ISO 16750 / LV-124 Electrical component validation
Education:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
