About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and curious SOC Analyst Intern to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This internship is a great
opportunity for those interested in cybersecurity and threat detection to gain
hands-on experience with security tools, incident response processes, and
real-world threat monitoring.
What You’ll Learn /
Responsibilities:
- Assist
in monitoring security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g.,
Splunk, QRadar, or others)
- Support
in analyzing potential security incidents, identifying false
positives, and escalating true threats
- Help
document incidents, response steps, and outcomes
- Learn
how to perform initial triage and investigation of suspicious
activities and anomalies
- Support
the implementation of security monitoring rules and playbooks
- Assist
with threat intelligence research and daily security briefings.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Currently
pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information
Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic
understanding of network protocols, cyber threats, and security
fundamentals
- Familiarity
with Linux/Windows operating systems and basic command-line usage
- Strong
interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn
- Good
communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
