This position is able to accept candidates who can transfer a valid, current H-1B visa. However, we do not provide sponsorship for F-1/OPT or STEM OPT (including initial, extension, or future sponsorship), now or at any time in the future. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:
Advanced understanding of network security principles, architectures, and protocols
Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies including design, deployment, and management
Experience with VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions
Strong grasp of threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response methodologies
Proficiency in software development tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible) for automating security tasks, developing custom controls, and integrating security solutions
Working knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.\
Ability to design, implement, and optimize security solutions for complex environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving advanced security and network issues
Experience developing automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations
Effective leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior engineers and foster team growth
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices
Certifications (Preferred):
CISSP, CISM or equivalent advanced certifications
Vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks)
Other Requirements:
Demonstrated experience leading security projects and initiatives
Strong documentation skills for maintaining records, procedures, and incident reports
