Cybersecurity Application Engineer
Job description
Owner of turnkey technical and compliance kits including reference software, test assets, and full conformance documentation for product cybersecurity and automotive functional safety.
- Drive end-to-end technical readiness for cybersecurity and functional safety regulations across company products.
- Provide technical support for qualification and certification with external labs, working closely with the Certification and Qualification Lead.
- Provide support to customers in meeting cybersecurity and automotive functional safety certifications.
Key Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in EE/CS (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in embedded/firmware or security/safety engineering with demonstrated delivery of compliance work products.
- Strong systems view of secure architectures (secure boot, key management, secure software updates, attestation, etc)
- Excellent technical writing (Safety Manual, cybersecurity case, test reports) and stakeholder communication (customers, labs).
- Practical experience in supporting worldwide customers.
- Practical experience in preparing conformity for cybersecurity or functional safety regulations.
- Preferred – familiar with at least one of the following regulations: ISO26262, EN 18031, IEC62443, ISO21434, or Common Criteria
- Preferred – familiar with functional safety architectures (ECC, CRC, error detection, watchdogs, etc)
