Your Mission:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments & penetration testing (Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit).
• Monitor, detect, and respond to threats using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Implement and audit security controls aligned with ISM, PSPF, and ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security into software lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Investigate incidents, recommend mitigations, and harden systems against emerging threats.

You’re the Perfect Fit If You Have:

• 3+ years in cyber security analysis, ideally in defence, government, or critical infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Vulnerability scanning & pentesting tools (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite, Kali Linux).
• Security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
• SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, and network defence tools.
• A proactive, detail-driven mindset—you spot risks before they elevate.
• Strong communication skills—you translate technical risks into actionable insights.

Non-Negotiables:

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory for Defence clearance).
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain NV1/NV2 clearance (existing clearance a huge plus).
