The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for the centralized management of all IT assets — hardware, software, cloud, and mobile resources — across Wynn Resorts, including Wynn and Encore Las Vegas and Wynn Design and Development.    Working in conjunction with similar resources globally, this role ensures the organization maintains a comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, enforces compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and drives cost-effective procurement and lifecycle management.  The Analyst will collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, ESG, and Risk Management teams to optimize asset utilization, minimize risk, and support strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, cloud, mobile), from acquisition and deployment to maintenance, renewal, and secure disposal.
  • Ensure all assets are tracked, assigned, and accounted for in the organization’s centralized asset management system, maintaining compliance with PCI, PII, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to verify inventory accuracy and compliance, preparing detailed reports for management and recommending remediation as needed.
  • Integrate automation and AI-driven processes for asset discovery, tracking, and predictive lifecycle management.

Hardware Asset Management

  • Maintain an Authorized Hardware List; ensure all hardware assets are properly tagged, tracked, and disposed of according to company policy.
  • Monitor hardware requisition, delivery, warranty status, and service agreements; match serial numbers to purchase orders and verify warranty information.
  • Collaborate with vendors for break/fix maintenance and manage vendor relationships and performance.
  • Track and manage IoT and AI-driven devices as part of the evolving technology landscape.

Software Asset Management

  • Maintain an Authorized Software List; ensure all software assets are inventoried in SCCM or equivalent systems.
  • Review, approve, and track software catalog requests; monitor license compliance and usage.
  • Conduct periodic software audits, manage renewals, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize software licensing and usage analytics using cloud-native and AI-driven solutions.

Cloud & Mobile Asset Management

  • Manage cloud resources (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) with a focus on compliance, cost control, and security.
  • Track and secure mobile devices, including BYOD and remote assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement mobile device management (MDM) solutions and monitor mobile asset lifecycle.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Analyze asset data to inform procurement, vendor relations, and license tracking decisions.
  • Define and implement data mining strategies to optimize asset lifecycle management.
  • Produce and distribute regular reports on asset status, compliance, and process adherence.
  • Track and report on asset management KPIs (e.g., compliance rates, cost savings, risk reduction).

Policy, Process, and Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve asset management processes, policies, and procedures in alignment with ITIL, ISO/IEC 19770, ISO 55001, and other industry frameworks.
  • Ensure all asset management activities meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, NIS2, CSRD, etc.).
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and traceability for all asset activities.
  • Serve as the point of contact for asset requests, purchasing needs, and license tracking

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, ESG, Risk Management, and business units to define asset needs, support audits, and facilitate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Liaise with vendors and business partners to ensure optimal asset procurement and contract management.
  • Support asset-related training and awareness for stakeholders.

Security & Risk Management

  • Ensure final disposition of all IT assets conforms to company information security standards to prevent inadvertent disclosure.
  • Stay current with legislative and regulatory issues related to asset management and communicate requirements across the organization.
  • Address cyber risk, data privacy, and asset-related vulnerabilities for hardware, software, cloud, and mobile assets.
  • Integrate asset management processes with vulnerability management, SIEM, and EDR platforms.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for asset management processes.
  • Leverage automation, AI, and predictive analytics to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular process reviews and support ongoing maturity assessments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; advanced certifications (ITIL, CSAM, CHAMP, CITAM) preferred.
  • 1+ years’ experience in IT asset management within a large or enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITAM best practices, hardware/software lifecycle management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency with asset management tools (SCCM, SCOM), MS Office, and database management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
