The Opportunity
Your Impact
- Provide cybersecurity expertise for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- Contribute to planning and execution of cybersecurity activities for major infrastructure projects and client mandates, including risk assessment, design, implementation, and commissioning.
- Execute WSP’s Cybersecurity project plans to ensure resilience through governance, technology, policies, and human factors.
- Perform threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments to identify critical assets and define mitigation strategies.
- Cascade cybersecurity requirements to suppliers and manage procurement activities to reduce supply chain risk.
- Lead analysis and verification of security controls to meet project requirements.
- Liaise with engineering and construction teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented.
- Review technical submissions from suppliers and provide detailed feedback.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity testing strategies to validate resilience against threats.
- Manage client relationships and advise on recommended actions for active projects.
- Identify opportunities for new work and contribute to proposals and bids.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Degree in Computer Programming, Networking, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GICSP, GIAC, IEC 62443) or a master’s in Cybersecurity.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT, OT, or ICS environments, including risk profiling, vulnerability testing, and security architecture.
- Knowledge of NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 2700x frameworks and industrial communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, etc.).
- Experience in sectors such as Transportation, Energy, Water/Wastewater, Manufacturing, or Mining.
- Ability to manage small technical teams and oversee project-level workstreams.
- Professional Engineer (PEng) or equivalent designation, or working toward certification.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Compensation
MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 – $137,400
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organisational needs. The wage range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
