We’re looking for a Security Analyst to join our dynamic SOC team and help protect our systems, data, and customers from evolving cyber threats.

In this role, you’ll work with cutting-edge tools, monitor complex environments, and respond to security events in real time. If you’re analytical, proactive, and passionate about cybersecurity, this is an opportunity to grow and make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

As a Security Analyst, you will:

• Identify, categorise, and prioritise correlated security alerts.
• Monitor alerts and events from multiple sources, including SIEM tools.
• Create tickets/cases for true positive incidents.
• Analyse logs and network traffic to identify potential threats.
• Advise on initial response actions during security incidents.
• Stay up to date on emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our environment.
• Review recurring tickets to identify false‑positive reduction opportunities.
• Ensure all active incidents are updated, correctly assigned, and handled within SLA.
• Support report creation and data extraction as needed.
• Maintain a strong understanding of SOC processes and documentation.

Secondary responsibilities will include:

• Provide cover for Level 2 Analysts when required.
• Support Security Awareness initiatives, including:
  • Sharing best‑practice guidance with employees.
  • Contributing to the creation of security policies and procedures.

What You Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong networking knowledge
• Solid understanding of Cyber Security principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft O365

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Degree in a relevant field
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SC‑200, or similar)
• Service desk or help desk experience
• Experience with Jira
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender & Microsoft Sentinel
• Network operations experience
• Strong report‑writing skills
