What will you be doing in this role?
- Provide expert support in the analysis, coordination, development, and maintenance of cyber security and CIS standards.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of cyber security standardization artefacts.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, subject matter experts, standards custodians, and key stakeholders.
- Support the Interoperability and Standardization Section (ISS) in ensuring secure, consistent, and interoperable standards across the digital technology portfolio.
- Conduct requirements analysis and coordinate with stakeholders to align cyber security standards with operational needs.
- Develop and maintain cyber security standards, conformance criteria, and audit objectives.
- Design and enhance cyber security reference architectures and support interoperability and standards harmonization.
- Provide support for unforeseen and ad hoc cyber security requirements as needed.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- University degree in computer science, systems engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience working with national or international CIS and cyber security standards, including NIST and ISO frameworks, at both governance and operational levels.
- Strong knowledge of computer and communications security, networking, and vulnerabilities in modern operating systems and applications.
- Proven experience in securing cloud-based environments and implementing cyber security architectures, including Zero Trust principles.
- Good understanding of securing AI-enabled systems and data-driven capabilities.
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages, with Python experience considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex cyber security specifications into clear, actionable requirements and standards artefacts.
- A security-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of additional cyber security frameworks such as PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, or C5, along with relevant cyber security or project management certifications, is desirable.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
