Cybersecurity Verification Engineer

Your role

• Define and set up penetration testing environments
• Define cybersecurity testing strategies
• Contribute to identifying verification tooling needs (including potential tool development)
• Define and perform penetration tests
• Provide guidelines and support to the verification team
• Participate in threat analysis and modeling activities

Profile we are looking for

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or an Engineering School (Grande École d’ingénieur) with a specialization in cybersecurity or IT
• Looking for an apprenticeship starting in September 2026
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and system security
• First experience (academic or personal projects) in penetration testing or security assessments is a plus
• Comfortable working in an international and multidisciplinary environment
• Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn

You're the right fit if

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, curiosity, and team spirit
• Good written and interpersonal communication skills
• Solid understanding of IT fundamentals (networking, cryptography, systems, web technologies, and frameworks)
• Knowledge of common security testing and penetration testing tools, such as:
  • Kali Linux
  • Metasploit
  • Burp Suite
  • Wireshark
  • WebInspect
  • Nmap (Network Mapper)
  • Nessus, and others
• Scripting skills for testing purposes (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
