Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Responsible for supporting daily operations related to domain infrastructure and identity lifecycle management. This includes managing user accounts, assisting with Active Directory tasks, and helping enforce access policies to ensure secure and consistent identity practices across the organization.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- User Account & Access Management
- Assist in user onboarding and offboarding by creating, modifying, or disabling accounts.
- Manage user access rights based on approved roles and policies.
Ensure accurate group membership and organizational unit placement in Active Directory.
- Active Directory Support
- Perform routine AD tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, and group updates.
- Support the implementation of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and basic directory maintenance.
- Access Control & Security Compliance
- Apply identity and access management policies such as least privilege and password standards.
- Participate in periodic access reviews and account audits.
Help ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations (e.g., PDPA, ISO 27001).
- System Monitoring & Documentation
- Monitor identity-related alerts and follow up on issues or anomalies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of account changes, user requests, and access controls.
Support ticket tracking, resolution updates, and knowledge base contributions.
- Collaboration & Support
- Coordinate with the internal IT team and other cybersecurity units to resolve identity-related issues.
- Provide basic user support for login/access issues across systems and applications.
- Assist in identity-related project tasks as assigned (e.g., MFA rollout, directory cleanup).

- To get all staff and management to adhere to policies, procedures and internal control.
Skills
- Knowledge of authentication protocols: Kerberos, NTLM, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
- Familiarity with enterprise IAM suites (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, ForgeRock).
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud identity).
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Education
EXTERNAL
- Degree preferably with specialization in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
Technical Certification
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ or Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Identity & Access Administrator (SC-300)
Relevant Industries
EXTERNAL
- 1-3 years of cybersecurity in Fundamentals or Identity & Access Administrator system.
