Salary: £51,240-£64,050

Help us create a better future, quicker
We’re looking for a Senior OT Cyber Security Engineer to help shape the future of cyber resilience across a major critical‑infrastructure organisation. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled global cyber security function, playing a key role in protecting essential operational technology and supporting the secure delivery of reliable electricity to millions of customers.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll design and implement secure network solutions, embed security throughout the application and infrastructure lifecycle, and ensure continuous monitoring across complex OT environments. You’ll contribute technical leadership to identity and access management design, assess the effectiveness of security controls, and integrate robust security measures into CI/CD pipelines. Your work will directly support a major cyber transformation programme, helping the organisation stay ahead of emerging threats and regulatory demands.
Reporting to the Cyber Architecture Lead, you’ll collaborate across technical and operational teams, supporting long‑term planning and contributing to a 12‑month delivery roadmap. Relevant industry certifications are welcome, and the role offers the chance to work internationally while shaping the organisation’s future security posture.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring hands‑on experience with security tools and applications, a strong grounding in Linux and Windows platforms, and an understanding of security architecture across on‑prem and cloud environments. Deep knowledge of IdAM principles and modern protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC and SCIM is essential, along with experience working across IT/OT controls in a highly regulated sector (Enterprise level IT & OT is preferred but not essential). The ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, plan ahead, and operate as a trusted subject matter expert will be key to your success.
If you’re ready to make an impact in one of the most critical areas of modern infrastructure—while growing your expertise within an ambitious and forward‑thinking cyber security function—this is a role where your skills will truly matter.
What’s in it for you
As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits. With our pension scheme, we’ll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%.
