About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager – Cybersecurity to lead and coordinate end-to-end automotive security programs across ECU domains.
This role will act as a central point of coordination between security system owners, ECU teams, architects, and external suppliers, ensuring robust security integration, compliance, and risk management aligned with automotive standards.
What You Will Do
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central coordination point for Cybersecurity across ECU domains
- Engage with stakeholders including:
- Security system owners
- ECU project teams
- Architecture & security experts
- External suppliers
- Drive alignment across multiple domains on:
- Security requirements
- Risk mitigation strategies
- Security rollout plans
- Provide clear visibility of security posture, risks, and compliance status
Security Requirement Management
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity requirements, including:
- System (SYS)
- Software (SWE) requirements
- Ensure:
- Full traceability (SYS → SWE → Architecture → Testing)
- Alignment with ASPICE and internal security standards
- Coordinate with ECU teams to:
- Consolidate platform vs project-specific security features
- Drive risk-based prioritization and release readiness
Security Dashboard & KPI Governance
- Define and maintain security KPI dashboards, including:
- Vulnerability status & closure rate
- Test coverage and validation status
- Compliance status (ASPICE / internal policies)
- Risk exposure and critical issues
- Enable:
- Leadership-level visibility
- Data-driven decision making
Security Program Execution
- Plan and track security deliverables across releases, including:
- HSM, SecOC, TLS, Secure Boot and related features
- Ensure alignment with:
- ECU integration timelines
- Platform-level delivery milestones
- Track key milestones and dependencies across ECU programs
- Drive shift-left approach for early security integration
Risk, Compliance & Incident Coordination
- Monitor and manage:
- Security risks and vulnerabilities
- Compliance with internal and external standards
- Coordinate:
- Security incident handling
- Feedback loops from validation and testing teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Security architects and domain experts
- ECU development teams
- Validation and SOC teams
- Enable:
- Reuse of security artifacts across platforms
- Process and tool harmonization across programs
What You Need to Be Successful
Core Competencies
- Strong stakeholder management across distributed teams
- Ability to translate technical risks into business impact
- Strong program governance and execution capability
- Analytical mindset with focus on KPIs and risk prioritization
Technical Understanding
- Strong understanding of:
- Automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434 context)
- ECU security concepts including:
- Secure Boot
- HSM
- Encryption
- SecOC, TLS, Firewall
- Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and system integration
Tools & Methods
- Dashboard tools: Power BI / internal dashboards
- Requirement tools: DOORS / DNG
- Agile frameworks: SAFe / PI Planning
- Exposure to security monitoring tools (preferred)
What Makes You Eligible
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in:
- Electronics & Communication
- Computer Science
- Cybersecurity or related field
- 9–12 years of experience in:
- Automotive cybersecurity
- ECU development / platform programs
- Program / project management
