Job Summary
As a Cyber Security
Engineer, you will be entrusted to apply your expertise in developing and
implementing high-tech solutions to defend against hacking, malware and
ransomware, insider threats and all types of cybercrime across all HabariPay’s
platforms. You will serve as our go-to team member for security policies and
procedures.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Planning, implementing,
managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the
organization’s data, systems and networks.
- Troubleshooting security
and network problems
- Responding to all systems
and network security breaches
- Ensuring that the
organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the
appropriate security controls.
- Participating in the change
management process
- Testing and identifying
network and system vulnerabilitiesand implement
measures, such as firewalls and encryption.
- Daily administrative tasks,
reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
- Serve on one or more product teams, using your insights
to inform product prioritization and product development.
- Keep up to date with the latest security and technology
developments.
- Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans
in the event of any security breaches.
- Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized
or illegal activity.
- Design new security systems or upgrade existing ones.
- Liaise with stakeholders about cyber security
issues and provide future recommendations.
- Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of
cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Cyber Security
engineer
