We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Cyber Security Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of protecting the UK through data-driven insights and solutions. As a Technical Consultant, you will be expected to demonstrate versatility as you work closely with our public sector clients, governmental departments and project teams. You may be expected to help design, document, and build secure networks involved in solving the UK’s most exciting challenges, or collect, analyse and interpret complex data sets to support evidence-based decision-making

Key Responsibilities
- Assessing your client’s' needs, understanding how their needs may differ from their wants, and appropriately managing stakeholder relationships.
- Selecting, understanding and adapting security control frameworks.
- Designing, justifying and implementing security management strategies.
- Identifying risks from design documentation and proposing proportionate cyber security controls.
- Ensuring security principles are applied during design and development to reduce risk.
- Developing and communicating corporate information security policy, standards and guidelines.
- Developing organisational strategies that address information control requirements. Identifying and monitoring environmental and market trends and proactively assessing impact on business strategies, benefits and risks.
- Performing threat modelling and risk assessments to develop a holistic picture of threat.
- Developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
- Accurately delivering high quality work to agreed timelines. Taking the initiative on project work, and knowing how to jump straight in.
- Supporting client engagements, including pitches and presentations.
- Helping to support & grow Daintta by actively inputting into the company strategy and helping to shape our future.

Skills/Knowledge
- You have relevant and recent experience working within the cyber security industry.
- You have experience in a consulting or customer facing role.
- You have worked in technical client deliveries across a range of cyber security related projects
- You can demonstrate subject matter expertise in one of the following domains: Security Architecture, Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, Security Engineering.
- You have experience of programming, programming and scripting concepts.
- You have experience working with security controls within cloud-based infrastructure (e.g Azure, AWS, GCP). This may include design, configuration, or protective monitoring.
- You have experience working with security control frameworks e.g. ISO27001, NIST, CAF or others.
- You have demonstrable continuous personal development with relevant certifications and accreditations.
- You have strong interpersonal skills
- You have UK security clearance at SC or above or are eligible and willing to go through clearance
Location?
Hybrid, with 2-3 days working from Daintta office or on client site as required.
