Job Location: Hybrid/Travel-must be willing to travel on-site to downtown Chicago a couple days a month.
Travel Expectations: Up to 25% onsite (A few days monthly for workshops.)

In this role, you will:
Cybersecurity Program Oversight
- Lead cybersecurity integration initiatives across legacy and target-state environments throughout all M&A phases.
- Align and harmonize security architectures, policies, and controls between merging entities.
- Ensure secure data flows, connectivity, and system interoperability through joint planning and risk assessments.
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Manage IAM programs, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management.
- Oversee implementation of role-based access controls (RBAC) and privileged access management (PAM).
- Ensure compliance with global identity standards and audit requirements.
Data Protection and Privacy Compliance
- Drive initiatives to enhance data protection, governance, and privacy programs across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to maintain adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and other regional data regulations.
- Support encryption, DLP, and data classification strategies for cross-border data transfers.
Risk Management and Mitigation
- Develop and maintain detailed risk registers and RAID logs for cybersecurity-related risks and issues.
- Implement proactive mitigation strategies and escalation processes.
- Provide risk visibility to executive sponsors through structured reporting and dashboards.
Program Planning and Reporting
- Create and manage detailed cybersecurity integration plans with defined milestones, deliverables, and stage gates.
- Track progress and report to executive leadership and steering committees.
- Drive cultural and procedural harmonization between merging organizations to foster a unified cybersecurity posture.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 4 years focused on cybersecurity programs.
- Proven experience managing cybersecurity workstreams in M&A or large-scale integration environments.
- Deep understanding of IAM, network security, data protection, and regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- PMP, CISSP, or CISM certification strongly preferred.
