About this opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Architect to understand, design, and oversee the implementation of enterprise scale architectures across our IT, OT, and cloud environments. The role requires expertise in modern architecture frameworks, emerging technologies, integration patterns, and enterprise level risk and solution management.
This role will be accountable for overall solution architecture requirements and ensuring our standards and best practices are incorporated into the designs. You will partner with enterprise architects, business leads, and project teams to deliver solution diagrams and documentation, integration specifications, and transition-to-operations processes as required.
The successful candidate will contribute as a technology leader, creatively aligning business and technology objectives while helping advance the organization’s overall maturity and resilience across its digital ecosystem.

What you’ll do:
Define and govern portfolio architecture to deliver measurable business value, reduce time to market, and align with IT and enterprise strategies.
Establish, maintain, and enforce architecture standards to ensure secure, reliable, compliant, and sustainable solutions across the portfolio.
Develop and maintain portfolio architectural designs, roadmaps, and capability maps to guide solution decisions and prioritize initiatives.
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align portfolio initiatives with strategic roadmaps, long-range plans, and technology standards.
Review and approve solutions to ensure cohesion, standards compliance, and support for defined business capabilities and outcomes.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to portfolio initiatives, projects, and service teams.
Monitor emerging technologies, delivery models, and data/AI governance practices to inform portfolio evolution and ensure enterprise alignment.
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ years of relevant IT experience plus 7+ years of experience specifically in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Certifications including TOGAF, Zachman, AWS/Azure Architect, or similar
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and designing architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, reference architectures, CSPM, and cloud financial management and cost optimization.
Expertise in integration patterns, API-driven and microservices architectures, containerization, and data flows.
Proficiency in DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code for automated deployments.
Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data security and privacy principles.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
