The Opportunity:

Join CACI as a prime contractor supporting the NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Cybersecurity Architect. This role supports the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program serving over 45,000 users engaged in global naval ship and submarine maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute specialized technical tasks aligned with Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
  • Conduct security assessments and deliver comprehensive security consulting services.
  • Analyze and define cybersecurity requirements for complex systems.
  • Apply Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DoN) IA policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Design, develop, and implement Multilevel Security (MLS) solutions.
  • Collect, organize, and interpret technical data related to mission objectives, operational needs, and security tools.
  • Perform risk analyses and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical support for secure software development and system integration.
  • Review systems and products to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Utilize security and vulnerability scanning tools such as PKI, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  • Evaluate recommended IA solutions for effectiveness, limitations, and alignment with system requirements.
  • Support security requirements for both legacy and modern applications.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of DoD and DoN Information Assurance policies and regulations.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in security assessment and risk analysis methodologies.

Desired:

  • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH).
  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs, or similar government IT environments.
  • Familiarity with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and DISA security requirements.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud security concepts and architectures.
  • Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • SAFe certification is a plus.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $75,200-$158,100
