Test Automation Engineer - Cybersecurity Products

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join an agile, multidisciplinary engineering team developing next-generation cybersecurity products at the highest security level. You will work closely with both hardware and software engineers to ensure the delivery of highly secure, reliable, and high-quality systems.

The team is responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from early concept and technology studies through development, verification, documentation, and final product delivery. Quality and security are core to everything the team builds.

Requirements

In this role, you will take ownership of and drive test automation activities across the product:

  • Define and maintain test strategies and test plans
  • Design, build, and operate automated test frameworks and environments
  • Implement automated testing across different system levels (unit, integration, system)
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborate closely with developers, hardware engineers, and system architects
  • Analyse test results, report defects, and contribute to root-cause analysis
  • Produce clear and structured technical documentation
  • Share knowledge by coaching and supporting colleagues in test automation practices

Onboarding & Development

You will be assigned a dedicated mentor when you join, ensuring a structured onboarding process and a smooth transition into the team. The role offers strong opportunities to grow technically across test automation, systems engineering, and advanced cybersecurity domains.

About You

You are a skilled tester or developer with a strong focus on test automation. You are comfortable understanding complex systems, identifying workflows, and creating structure in testing processes.

You enjoy working in agile environments and are motivated by contributing to cutting-edge, meaningful technology. You are curious, proactive, and thrive in collaborative teams where quality and learning are valued.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in test automation within complex software or system environments
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Python and C
    • Linux and Windows-based systems
    • Bash / shell scripting
    • Git and version-controlled workflows
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable adapting to changing requirements and documenting work effectively

Desirable / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience testing embedded or hardware-close systems
  • Familiarity with security-critical or regulated environments
  • Experience with system-level or integration testing
  • Exposure to cybersecurity-focused products or development processes
