Job Description:
The Incident Response Specialist collaborates with security and IT teams to enhance incident response strategies, focusing on automation and containment. This role involves analyzing the impact of incidents on data, systems, and networks, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and staying current with cybersecurity trends.
The Work:
- Develop proactive strategies and automation to improve incident response efficiency.
- Coordinate containment efforts and implement response strategies to isolate affected systems or networks.
- Analyze the impact of incidents on the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor's degree (or 4 years additional equivalent work experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in incident response or cybersecurity
- Experience with incident response tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Experience in developing incident response documentation
- Experience in forensic investigations and strong knowledge of data security best practices
Bonus points if you have:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH)
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US citizen (No Dual Citizenship)
- Active Secret Clearance
