The Cybersecurity Professional Services Consultant deploys and implements Thales data security solutions in customer enterprise environments. This role works closely with sales to generate revenue, interfaces with customers, and collaborates with R&D and product management to optimize solutions for customer needs.

It is a highly technical, hands-on, and customer-facing position. The consultant works with customer IT security teams to install and configure data security, encryption, and key management solutions.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, analytical, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-growing technical environment while managing multiple priorities.

Key areas of responsibility:

We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Consultant with strong expertise in Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSM), CipherTrust Manager (CM), and payShield solutions.

The role leads the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of Thales security solutions for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, defining project scope, and developing implementation plans aligned with security and compliance goals.

The consultant designs secure key management, encryption, and access control architectures using Thales HSM and CM, and performs hands-on installation, configuration, integration, testing, and validation.

The role also includes providing training, best practice guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customer teams, as well as presenting solutions and project updates to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • CipherTrust Suite Proficiency – Strong working knowledge of CipherTrust Manager (CM), CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE), CipherTrust Cloud Key Manager (CCKM), and other related Thales security modules, including policy creation and enforcement.

  • Database Encryption Solutions – Experience implementing encryption for databases such as Microsoft SQL Server (TDE) and Oracle (TDE), ensuring secure data-at-rest protection.

  • Cryptographic Protocols – Practical understanding and hands-on experience with KMIP, PKCS#11, REST API, SNMP, and TLS for secure communications and integrations.

  • Key & Certificate Lifecycle Management – Proficiency in key generation, distribution, rotation, revocation, and certificate lifecycle processes in compliance with industry best practices.

  • Automation & Integration – Experience in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell, or similar) for automation of deployment tasks, integration with enterprise systems, and operational efficiency.

  • Technical Documentation – Strong ability to capture technical requirements, produce detailed implementation guides, and write high-quality technical response papers for customer and internal audiences.

  • Ability to travel up to 70%; Ability to work under stress and managing tight deadlines, changing work environment and ability to be adaptable.

  • Fluent English
