TaylorMade Golf

About

We started back in 1979 when Gary Adams took out a $24,000 loan on his home to build something different—a stainless steel driver that could help golfers hit the ball higher and farther. There were just three of us in a 6,000 square-foot building, but we had conviction that better equipment could make the game more enjoyable. That first metalwood looked and sounded nothing like traditional wooden clubs, and it performed differently too, with perimeter weighting that offered more forgiveness on mis-hits.

Four decades later, we're still pushing boundaries in golf equipment, from drivers and irons to golf balls and accessories. Our team works alongside some of the world's best players—Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Nelly Korda and others—who test our prototypes and push us to keep innovating. Beyond the tour, we've built a network of over 3,500 PGA Professionals who work directly with golfers at local clubs. We believe in combining innovation with authenticity, staying true to what golfers expect while exploring new frontiers in performance. Our competitive spirit drives everything we do.

ZF Friedrichshafen AG

ZF Friedrichshafen AG operates 161 production locations across 30 countries, manufacturing driveline systems, chassis components, and active safety technologies for automotive and industrial clients. The threat surface is substantial: a century-old supply chain now integrating software-defined vehicle architectures, autonomous driving stacks, and cloud-connected digital twins for production optimization. With €41.4 billion in sales and 161,600 employees, the attack vectors span legacy SAP and ERP systems, generative AI deployments, and emerging compliance frameworks like ISO 21434 and UN R155 for automotive cybersecurity. The security challenge centers on protecting intellectual property across electrified powertrain development and software-defined vehicle platforms while securing operational technology at scale. Digital twins create new exposure - virtual replicas of physical production lines that, if compromised, could enable supply chain manipulation or industrial espionage. The company's Chassis 2.0 concept and autonomous driving work means defending against both traditional IT threats and vehicle-specific attack patterns: CAN bus exploitation, over-the-air update hijacking, and sensor spoofing scenarios. Technical domains include driveline and chassis technology, active and passive safety systems, and polymer recycling partnerships with firms like BASF. The stack mixes cloud infrastructure, Microsoft tooling, and automotive-grade security standards - UN R155 compliance isn't optional for vehicles entering European markets. Security teams here work at the intersection of industrial control systems, automotive software stacks, and enterprise IT, defending components that end up in both passenger cars and commercial fleets globally.

b2venture GmbH

b2venture is a European venture firm that exists to transform how early-stage startups access capital and expertise. Founded in 2000 as BrainsToVentures, the firm emerged from the recognition that entrepreneurs in Europe lacked the support structures available elsewhere. By building an unparalleled community of angel investors and venture professionals, b2venture provides the fuel ambitious founders need at the earliest stages when capital is hardest to secure. The firm invests between EUR 250,000 and EUR 5 million in Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A rounds, specifically targeting digital and industrial technology companies poised for breakthrough impact. What makes b2venture unique is its multi-generational approach to venture capital. Rather than simply writing checks, the firm creates a virtuous cycle where successful entrepreneurs become angel investors, mentoring the next generation of outliers. This collaborative model has backed companies like DeepL, SumUp, and Raisin - startups that have grown into European technology champions. By leveraging the collective wisdom of its angel community alongside disciplined investment processes, b2venture provides founders with more than capital; they gain partners who understand the challenges of building extraordinary businesses and stay committed from seed stage through IPO.
