Responsibilities
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support one of our customers. This position plays a critical role in protecting company systems, infrastructure, and data through proactive threat analysis, system monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and security system management. The role will also be heavily involved in the company’s efforts to obtain CMMC Level 2 Certification. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Aurora, IL.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (IT/Networking emphasis preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in a corporate IT networking or cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of Network infrastructure architecture & design
- Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, FTP, SFTP, RDP, OSI Model, Routing & Switching
- Experience reviewing logs and analyzing security system data.
- Familiarity with email filtering and protection systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards: ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, DFARS5.X, CMMC Level 2
- Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security +, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CISSP or equivalent, certification
- Experience reviewing logs and analyzing security system data.
- Familiarity with email filtering and protection systems.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:
$37-$44 per hour
