We’re looking for a customer-oriented Junior Implementation & Support Engineer to join Secomea’s US Customer Services team. This is a hybrid role, combining paid customer implementations with technical support responsibilities, giving you broad exposure to both customer projects and daily operations.

The role is designed as a shared resource:

  • Approximately 50% focused on customer implementation and professional services

  • Approximately 50% focused on technical support, working closely with our global support organization

  • Over time, and as the US organization scales, the role may evolve towards a stronger implementation focus.

    Your Responsibilities

    Implementation & Professional Services (≈50%)

    You will help customers successfully deploy and adopt Secomea’s solutions as part of paid implementation projects.Your tasks will include:

  • Configuring secure remote access solutions, Azure AD integrations, and network setups

  • Advising customers on best practices for OT remote access, identity management, and cybersecurity

  • Supporting customers during onboarding and implementation phases

  • Collaborating with Secomea R&D and technology partners on configuration and troubleshooting

  • Ensuring proper documentation of customer setups and implementation outcomes

  • You will work closely with the global implementation team on customer projects and knowledge sharing.

    Technical Support & Operations (≈50%)

    As part of the support function, you will contribute to delivering a high-quality and structured support experience for Secomea customers:

  • Handling customer cases via our ITSM system and live communication

  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to networking, connectivity, and system configuration

  • Acting as 2nd-level support and escalating complex cases according to internal guidelines

  • Working according to established ITIL-based support processes, ensuring consistent case handling, documentation, and escalation

  • Contributing to internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices

  • Collaborating closely with Support, Operations, and Platform teams

  • This role does not include 24/7 on-call duty.

    Technologies You’ll Work With

    You don’t need to master everything from day one, but you’ll be exposed to technologies such as:

  • Linux, Bash, Shell scripting

  • Python (basic scripting and automation)

  • Azure AD, Microsoft Graph API

  • Network infrastructure and server environments

  • IT protocols: SSH, RDP, VNC

  • OT protocols: OPC UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT, TIA Portal

  • HTML, CSS (basic understanding)

    However, it is an advantage if you:

  • Have a technical background in networking, IT, automation, or OT environments

  • Have networking knowledge around CCNA level or similar

  • Know of the following: OT cybersecurity, OT networking, network experience at the CCNA level, IAM or PAM

  • Can read and write Shell scripts and have basic Python understanding

  • Have the ability to understand and analyze customers’ technical needs

  • Take ownership of tasks and customer cases, ensuring proper follow-through and resolution

  • Soft Skills & Way of Working

  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment and following defined support and implementation workflows

  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across support cases and implementation activities

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, from initial request to final resolution

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with global teams across functions and time zones

  • Additionally, since Secomea has clients all over the world, it is a must that you have excellent communication skills in English and can make complex concepts clear to both technical and non-technical people.
