Outpost24 Group has been in the exposure-management business since 2001, when it was founded by ethical hackers doing vulnerability assessment. The premise then is the premise now: attackers enumerate your digital and human attack surfaces faster than defenders can, so the job is to find what's exposed, work out which of it actually matters, and get it fixed. The product surface splits along two fairly distinct threat models. The Outpost24 exposure management platform covers the asset side: discovering vulnerabilities across external, internal, cloud, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) environments, assessing their significance, and prioritizing remediation rather than dumping raw scanner output on a ticket queue. Specops covers the identity side - password security, authentication, identity verification, and secure workforce access, which is where credential attacks and legacy Active Directory password policy quietly do most of the damage. Application security testing and threat intelligence sit alongside those, with managed security services for teams that want the findings delivered rather than self-served.
