Position: Senior Cyber Security Manager (Endpoint Security Services)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Manager to lead and manage enterprise-level endpoint security services within a complex IT environment. The role focuses on end-to-end service management across the full service lifecycle, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operation of critical security solutions.
This position involves close collaboration with service architects, IT strategy teams, and operational units, with a strong focus on device and application control, as well as integrated security processes aligned with ITIL practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for multiple or complex IT security services across all lifecycle phases (strategy, design, transition, operation, and continuous improvement)
- Define service strategies and drive service design for endpoint security solutions
- Manage escalations, reporting, and service performance for assigned IT services
- Ensure service quality, contractual compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate services delivered by external partners, vendors, and suppliers
- Lead and manage cross-functional or service-related projects and sub-projects
- Take ownership of IT security management for assigned solutions
- Develop and implement security concepts and frameworks
- Monitor security alerts and define appropriate mitigation measures
- Ensure proper documentation, implementation, and tracking of security measures
- Perform stakeholder management and risk management across complex environments
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT service management aligned with ITIL (minimum 5 years)
- Certification such as ITIL 4 Managing Professional or equivalent
- Strong background in endpoint security, including areas such as:
- Device and application control
- Encryption technologies (disk, email, file security)
- Privileged access and password management
- Experience in managing complex IT services in enterprise environments
- Certification in vocational training/mentoring (e.g., trainer qualification) is advantageous
- Excellent German language skills (C1 level) and good English skills
Professional Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in IT service management, particularly in client or endpoint environments
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering services from solution design to operational deployment
- Proven experience in:
- Requirement analysis and service portfolio alignment
- Change and security requirement evaluation
- Escalation and incident handling
- Continuous service improvement (CSI)
- Experience in leading teams within matrix organizations, including virtual teams
- Experience in creating service concepts, specifications, and documentation
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working within regulated or structured environments is an advantage
