Texas custom-cabinet manufacturer founded in 1971, with two plants and eight design centers across nine Texas cities, serving residential, builder, and commercial cabinetry markets.
Kent Moore Cabinets is a Texas custom-cabinet manufacturer, founded from cabinet and trim subcontracting work that began in 1971 under founder Kent Moore. The company designs, builds, and installs cabinetry for homeowners, builders, and commercial customers across remodels and new construction, and is reported as the largest custom cabinet manufacturer in Texas. It employs roughly 700 people.
The operating footprint is the part worth mapping. Kent Moore Cabinets runs 11 locations across nine Texas cities: two manufacturing plants and eight sales offices and design centers. Its technical work spans custom cabinetry design, cabinet manufacturing, cabinet installation, custom finishing, and carpentry and trim work. Product lines include the Signature collection, Classic collection, and Painted Elegance collection - each offering choices in door styles, wood species, finishes, and edges - plus custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, studies, bedrooms, closets, entertainment areas, wine rooms, and other spaces, in both residential and commercial settings.
That means a business running distributed design and sales sites, manufacturing operations, on-site installation crews, and a customer pipeline that includes residential homeowners, homebuilders, and commercial interiors clients - a mix of operational technology in the plants, design and order data at the design centers, and partner and customer information moving between them. Verticals covered include residential cabinetry, home remodeling, new home construction, homebuilding, and commercial interiors.
Stated values are craftsmanship, dependability, innovation, and willingness to change; the mission emphasizes productivity, pride, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement. The company retains a family-founded heritage dating to 1971. Details on security team structure, tooling, and scope are not published.
