As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Consumer & Community Banking Core Engineering Solutions team, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. Job responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration, and oversee complex program execution by managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning, dependency/risk synthesis, and executive-ready reporting, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
  • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and continuous improvement routines, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
  • Establish and manage program governance, issue resolution, escalation paths, and decision forums to ensure delivery against committed milestones.
  • Partner with technology, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor program health through data-driven metrics, identifying delivery risks, execution gaps, and remediation opportunities.
  • Coordinate large-scale change initiatives across multiple lines of business, ensuring adoption, operational readiness, and sustainable execution.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
  • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
  • Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technology modernization, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or regulatory transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple organizations without direct authority while managing competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Experience establishing governance, executive reporting, and risk management processes for complex enterprise initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate technical risk into business impact and action plans.
  • Track record of delivering programs requiring coordination across architecture, engineering, operations, and control functions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Certifications such as SAFe, PMP, or PgMP
  • Experience leading multi-LOB transformations at scale within technology or financial services
  • Proficiency with portfolio tooling and analytics (e.g., Jira Align, OKR platforms, BI dashboards) to enable data-driven decisions
  • Experience leading enterprise readiness, application remediation, or technology compliance initiatives at scale
  • Financial services industry experience managing highly regulated technology programs
