Harro Höfliger
Harro Höfliger designs and builds specialized production and packaging systems, turnkey lines and lifecycle services for pharmaceutical, medtech, consumer and home-care manufacturers, exported worldwide from Greater Stuttgart.
Harro Höfliger builds the machines that pharmaceutical, medtech, consumer and home-care products ride on from laboratory scale to automated high-performance production. Founded in 1975 as a one-man operation refurbishing used cartoning machines, the company now employs more than 2,500 people and ships worldwide, with an export share exceeding 80 percent from development and production sites in Greater Stuttgart.
The engineering surface is unusually deep for a machinery vendor: mechanical engineering, complex assembly, micro-dosing and macro-dosing, web processing for challenging materials, process development, packaging systems engineering and automation - all developed in-house and integrated into machine platforms and complete turnkey lines. Add lifecycle services supporting the installed base and you get a long-tail operational footprint: equipment that is commissioned, serviced, updated and supported over decades inside regulated manufacturing environments where uptime, product integrity and validated processes are non-negotiable.
That combination - proprietary control of key processes, networked production assets, worldwide deployment and an ongoing service relationship with the installed base - defines the threat model more honestly than any slogan would. It is a family-owned business that has grown by combining mechanical engineering with process knowledge and customer-focused development, and it is structured to carry products reliably from idea to commercial production.
