GRAITEC is an international software company and Autodesk partner providing BIM, structural analysis, engineering simulation, and ERP/MES tools to architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing organizations.
GRAITEC builds the software that sits between a building's design and its fabrication. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Paris, it is an international software company and one of the world's largest Autodesk partners, with approximately 800 experts, more than 30 offices across 12 countries, and over 270,000 users worldwide. The company sells into architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and fabrication - industries where the models are data-rich, the intellectual property is the business, and a bad structural calculation or a corrupted fabrication file has physical consequences.
The technical surface is broad and unusually concrete: building information modeling (BIM), structural analysis, engineering simulation, fabrication automation, ERP/MES, and Industry 4.0 work. In practice that means a product stack spanning Advance Design (structural analysis), Advance Workshop (fabrication and ERP/MES solutions), and PowerPack (extensions for Autodesk Revit and Advance Steel). The through-line is data-rich modeling and simulation of model behavior - design data that carries forward into procurement, shop-floor scheduling, and machine output rather than stopping at a drawing set.
The threat model is the one that comes with that chain: structural and fabrication data moving between design tools, enterprise ERP/MES systems, and production environments, across a distributed footprint of offices and customer implementations. GRAITEC also runs consultancy, implementation, training, and support services alongside its software, so teams operate close to customer deployments rather than behind a pure product wall. Stated priorities include helping customers adopt BIM and industrialize their work, with an emphasis on productivity, material-waste reduction, and sustainability.
