Are you a cyber security professional who loves finding risks before the bad guys do?
We're looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join a high-impact project team and help strengthen security governance, risk management, and architecture across a large, complex environment.
Location: Carseldine, QLD (Hybrid)
Contract: 27 July 2026 - 24 December 2026
Rate: Open for negotiation (hourly)
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing projects, designs, and technical solutions through a security lens
- Conducting threat and risk assessments
- Providing practical security advice aligned to best-practice frameworks
- Working closely with business and technical stakeholders
- Supporting security governance, risk, and compliance initiatives
We're keen to speak with professionals who have:
- 5+ years of cyber security, security architecture, or information security experience
- Strong GRC and risk management expertise
- Exposure to frameworks such as ISO 27001, ASD ISM, Essential Eight, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS
- Experience within government, transport, or other large enterprise environments
- Knowledge of ISMS development, policies, standards, and security assurance
