Reporting to the Cybersecurity Hub based in Costa Rica Engineering Center, you will be working with cybersecurity solutions for process control systems for customers around the world. The process control industries have many critical applications and require a high degree of safety and availability. You will be part of a team that delivers global services to protect such systems and support Operational Technology (OT) architecture against cyber-attacks.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Understand the Power and Water Cybersecurity Suite (PWCS) and be able to analyze and adapt it to complex and non-standard requirements and implementation.
- Use a combination of deep cybersecurity knowledge, industrial control knowledge, networking knowledge, and communication with customers, development, product marketing, proposals teams and various stakeholders to develop the best course of action for non-standard implementations and scenarios. Become the responsible party for technical direction, coordination, design and delivery of advanced cybersecurity proposals, projects, and programs.
- Participate as a supporting role in the Cybersecurity Emergency Response Team (CERT) by monitoring threat feeds and communicating with CERT Team, as necessary. Create official responses for vulnerabilities related to vendors used by Emerson PWS products. Participate in official cybersecurity notification development for customers.
- Participate in testing of products in coordination with product development, if necessary.
- Become the point of contact with product marketing, development, management and world areas for technical industrial cybersecurity inquiries, information, news, alerts, and market tendencies. Participate in discussions about product implementation and road-mapping.
- Provide presentations to internal and external customers about cybersecurity products and services portfolio.
- Provide training on cybersecurity-related topics to engineers in the industrial cybersecurity team.

For this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in a cybersecurity-related role is required.
- The position requires an advanced level of English [B2] (additional languages are advantageous).
- Possess advanced technical and analytical skills.
- The position requires good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills in a formal environment.
- The ability to work effectively with internal and external customers is essential.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience with PWCS and Ovation products and associated systems is desired.
- Cybersecurity certifications like GICSP, CISSP, or similar are desirable and advantageous.
- Networking certifications like CCNA, CCNP Security or equivalents are desirable and advantageous.
