Meet the team:

The Dexcom Enterprise Information Security team is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer - Cloud and AI Security to serve as a technical subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure and AI security. The position will involve leading cloud infrastructure and AI security capabilities and collaborating with relevant teams to ensure the security of IT applications. The engineer will contribute to the implementation and automation of security measures within the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deploy security controls and tools to secure the IT application environment.

This position will report to the APAC IT team with a dotted line to the corporate InfoSec Product Security team and will act as a strategic advocate for InfoSec across global applications, infrastructure, and compliance teams. The role offers significant opportunities for career growth as Dexcom’s Information Security program continues to expand globally.

Where you come in:

• You will implement and maintain security architecture patterns for GCP, AWS, and Azure environments.
• You will Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., IaC scanning, secrets detection, SAST, SCA) and configure cloud security guardrails to enforce compliance.
• You will perform security assessments on cloud workloads and applications; document findings and collaborate with service owners for remediation.
• You shall use tools like CSPM, SCA, SAST, and DAST to identify and prioritize risks; assist in correlating findings from platforms such as Wiz, Apiiro, Snyk, and Qualys.
• You will deploy and fine-tune posture and threat monitoring for cloud infrastructure; ensure logs and metrics support timely investigations.
• You will assist in implementing defenses for AI-related risks such as prompt injection, data poisoning, and sensitive information leakage in AI-driven applications.
• You will support safe adoption of GenAI services by following InfoSec guidelines and industry best practices; contribute to developing guardrails for AI model usage.
• You will support compliance activities by preparing evidence for audits and internal reviews.
• You will participate in evaluating new security technologies and assist in proof-of-concept implementations.
• You will collaborate in technical discussions, providing input to ensure designs meet baseline security controls.

What makes you successful:

• You have a BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or IT; 2+ years hands-on securing public cloud environments.
• You bring practical experience integrating security in DevOps workflows (Terraform/IaC, GitOps, pipeline gates).
• Your familiarity with cloud security controls (identity, network, encryption, logging/monitoring) across GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Your working knowledge of Terraform and/or policy-as-code frameworks.
• Your exposure to ASPM/CNAPP/CSPM tools such as Snyk, Wiz, or Apiiro.
• Your scripting/automation experience (Python or Go); understanding of Linux, containers/Kubernetes.
• Your interest or exposure to AI security concepts (e.g., prompt hardening, model/data protection, secure API.
