Role Overview:
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Vulnerability Management is a vital role focusing on identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across the organization’s IT environment. This position entails working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement vulnerability management programs aimed at enhancing the security posture of the organization. You will leverage various tools and methodologies to conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and coordinate remediation efforts effectively. This role is specifically targeted at Saudi Nationals to support local workforce development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine vulnerability assessments using automated tools and manual techniques to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, processes, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk assessments.
- Perform penetration testing to simulate real-world attack scenarios and identify potential security gaps.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Stay informed of the latest threats, trends, and tools in vulnerability management and cybersecurity.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on vulnerability management.
- Proficient in using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or similar vulnerability scanning tools.
- Experience with common vulnerabilities and attack vectors defined by OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
- Industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
