De Havilland Canada designs, manufactures, and supports turboprop and special-mission aircraft, with more than 5,600 delivered since 1928 and about 3,000 active aircraft backed by 24/7/365 technical and parts support.
De Havilland Canada designs, manufactures, and supports utility-built turboprop and special-mission aircraft for customers worldwide. Founded in 1928, the company has delivered more than 5,600 aircraft over its history and currently supports approximately 3,000 active aircraft globally, with technical and parts support available 24/7/365.
The current portfolio spans the Dash 8-400, the Twin Otter Classic 300-G, the De Havilland Canadair 515 in aerial firefighting and special-mission roles, the Twin Otter Guardian special-mission variant, and the Sherpa. Legacy programs - Beaver, Buffalo, Caribou, Otter, Twin Otter, and Dash 8 - remain in service and are supported through aftermarket services. Technical work runs across turboprop aircraft design, aircraft manufacturing, avionics upgrades, aircraft modifications, aftermarket support, and aviation training delivered through De Havilland Aviation Training.
The operating footprint reaches well beyond factory-floor engineering. Aircraft are deployed in regional and passenger air transport, cargo, remote community connectivity, aerial firefighting, search and rescue, medevac, reconnaissance, coastal surveillance, and defense-adjacent special-mission roles - an installed base that touches government, commercial, and remote operators. Customer and supplier portals sit between that fleet and the company's supply and support chain, alongside the round-the-clock technical and parts operation.
