Responsibilities:
- Monitoring network security events, analyzing alerts for potential and active threats, and restoring environments post-incident
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to fulfill service requests and maintain security service effectiveness
- Maintaining knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics to inform defense strategies
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks and develop remediation solutions
- Assisting in security audits and risk analysis, contributing to network forensics and enhancing penetration testing capabilities
- Providing technical support during incidents, documenting findings, and contributing to after-action reviews to refine response processes
- Engaging in continuous learning to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity technologies and best practices
- Supporting the evaluation and implementation of security configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
