This role provides enterprise leadership for endpoint security, overseeing prevention, detection, and response capabilities while ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles and healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST). The position is responsible for integrating endpoint security telemetry into security operations and incident response processes to maintain strong cyber hygiene, resilience, and operational reliability at scale.
Security Operations & Governance: Lead endpoint security operations, establish standards and baselines, drive vulnerability management and cyber hygiene automation, and ensure effective detection, response, and forensic support across a large, complex enterprise.
Strategy & Executive Engagement: Define endpoint security strategy and roadmaps, collaborate across infrastructure, identity, network, and cloud teams, and communicate risk, posture, and performance metrics to executive leadership while balancing security controls with usability and patient care continuity.
A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Northeast Ohio, Monday - Fridy from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Select and hire professionals that will help grow the talent pool within Cybersecurity.
Evaluate team members on performance and provide assistance with individual development plans.
Provide coaching and mentorship to nurture the development of staff in line with CCF’s vision and values.
Responsible for annual budget planning/forecasting.
Develop and guides team in documenting remediation recommendations to improve the CC environment.
Keep abreast of latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities.
Apply communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues.
Facilitate staff augmentation when necessary

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 12 years or related experience, including 2 years leadership experience in a process or people oriented role required.
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of recent experience within the Information Technology with focus on Security, including 2 years leadership experience in a process or people oriented role required.
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Excellent knowledge of security technology and strong analytical skills.
Proven ability to orchestrate complex initiatives successfully through influence and persuasion rather than direct command
Well-developed strategic thinking skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Executive presence and ability to engage senior level business and IT leadership
Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced team environment
Strong customer service skillset.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field preferred.
Certifications from SysAdmin, Audit, Network and Security Institute (SANS), International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) or Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) or other position related certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to sit and be stationary for prolonged periods of time, normal or corrected vision and manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.
Requires the ability to walk to various locations throughout the organization and to function in a stressful environment.
