About

We've been building banking software for over 40 years, starting in 1985 when we set out to solve a real problem: financial institutions struggling with fragmented systems and manual processes. Today, we're a team of more than 2,500 people across 12 countries, supporting over 170 banks and wealth managers who trust us with their core operations.

Our platform handles everything from client onboarding to investment management, payments, and compliance - whether you want to run it in the cloud or on your own servers. We don't just develop the software; we operate it too, which means we see firsthand what actually works in practice. Being part of NEC Corporation since 2020 gives us additional resources to keep innovating, but we still maintain the agility and client-focused approach that's defined us from the start.

Globeleq

Globeleq operates utility-scale power infrastructure across Africa, managing 1,794 MW of operational capacity through 17 power plants in seven countries, with another 683 MW under construction. Since 2002, the company has built a portfolio spanning gas generation, wind, solar PV, battery energy storage systems, and geothermal - backed by British International Investment and Norfund. With nearly 2,000 employees and regional offices in Abidjan, Cairo, Cape Town, Dar es Salaam, Douala, Johannesburg, Maputo, and Nairobi, the company runs distributed operations across critical energy infrastructure that powers households and businesses continent-wide. The security stack reflects the complexity of protecting OT environments and multi-country operations: Azure Security and Microsoft 365 Defender anchor cloud posture, Azure Sentinel handles detection and response, Intune manages endpoints, and the network perimeter layers Palo Alto Networks, FortiGate, Juniper Networks, and Aruba Networks gear. IFS appears to handle enterprise resource planning - likely managing procurement, maintenance scheduling, and financial operations tied to plant operations. The threat surface spans SCADA/ICS systems at generation sites, corporate IT infrastructure distributed across eight African cities and London headquarters, supply chain coordination for construction projects, and regulatory compliance across multiple national jurisdictions. For security practitioners, the operational reality involves protecting physical generation assets that can't go offline for patching, securing remote sites with variable connectivity, managing identity and access across nearly 2,000 users in dispersed locations, and maintaining visibility into both IT and OT domains. The renewable portfolio positioning means growing attack surface as solar arrays and battery storage systems - increasingly software-defined and networked - scale alongside legacy gas infrastructure. The company claims 20.7 million tonnes of lifetime CO2 equivalent emissions avoided from renewable projects, underscoring the criticality of these systems to climate goals and the potential impact of disruption.

TRUSTEQ

TRUSTEQ is a consulting firm built around digital transformation, operating from offices in Munich, Cologne, and Zagreb. Under CEO Torsten Klein, the company positions itself as a technical partner across the full lifecycle - from initial strategy through implementation - with a service catalog that spans IT strategy, cybersecurity, data analytics, AI, cloud infrastructure transformation, and ESG strategy consulting. The pitch is straightforward: exceptional technical depth combined with long-term advisory relationships, not project churn. The cybersecurity practice sits within a broader transformation mandate, offering services designed to strengthen client security postures as part of digital modernization efforts. TRUSTEQ's model assumes most organizations face interconnected challenges - cloud migration, AI adoption, data governance - where security isn't a standalone vertical but a thread running through infrastructure decisions, regulatory compliance, and operational risk. The firm emphasizes collaborative engagement, positioning consultants as trusted advisors embedded with clients rather than external auditors dropping recommendations and exiting. TRUSTEQ's geographic footprint covers Germany and Croatia, suggesting a client base across Central Europe. The company culture signals prioritize technical expertise and long-term partnership over aggressive growth metrics or volume-based delivery. There's no public funding history or headcount disclosed, which typically indicates either private ownership or early-stage operation. The absence of specific tooling or methodology details in public materials means prospective hires would need to ask direct questions about tech stack, threat modeling frameworks, and whether the cybersecurity work leans offensive, defensive, governance, or some hybrid across engagements.
